How do I book?
Bookings may be confirmed with a valid Visa or MasterCard (sorry not AMEX or Diners Club), expiry date and security code. A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the first night’s accommodation will be deducted at the time of booking. You can check availability and/or book online here, call the hotel directly on 01726 813557 or email us at email@example.com to enquire about availability. Please note that at certain times of the year, a minimum stay of two nights may apply, but if you wish to stay for just one night and cannot see any availability online, please call or email as we often have rooms available for one night due to the way that other bookings have come in.
Can I stay with my family?
Yes, of course. Quite a few of our rooms can accommodate more than two people and we charge £20.00 per night for each extra person in the room (under 2’s stay free) and this includes their breakfast.
What if I need to cancel?
All deposits are non-refundable. If a reservation is cancelled, the first night’s accommodation will be charged. For cancellations less than 14 days prior to the due start date, 50% of the accommodation originally booked will be charged and if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the due date of arrival 100% will be charged. If we can re-let the room, then whetever we can get for the room, we will deduct this from any cancellation charges. No refunds will be offered for shortened stays. For peace of mind, we suggest you take out holiday/travel insurance.
The garage roof just fell on the car (or some other disaster) and I really cannot make it today/tomorrow!
OK, we understand, so in such circumstances please call us and we will see what we can do about postponing your stay. We have been known to carry the entire booking forward to for up to a month without any penalty at all, or up to 3 months with only the loss of half the deposit/booking total, but the best thing to do is get in contact as soon as possible. We can’t promise, but we will try our best to accommodate you another time.
What time can I check in?
We guarantee your room will be ready by 3.00pm, however if you find yourself in the area before this time, please still come on in as the rooms are often ready earlier and even if it isn’t, you are still welcome to use our facilities such as the pool and hot tub until it is.
And for the record, checkout time is 11.00am (ish!).
We try very hard to re-unite lost items with their rightful owners. If you believe that you have left something at the hotel after leaving please call without delay. Smaller items are often returned without charge, but for larger items we may need to charge you a return fee, sorry. We typically keep lost items for up to 3 months, after which time. they will either be donated to a local charity shop of discarded.
Can I smoke in the room?
Sorry, no. Boscundle Manor is a non-smoking establishment and, for the benefit of future guests, reserves the right to charge up to £100.00 to deep clean rooms where smoking has occurred, so please don’t smoke in the room. There are a number of rooms with patios and you are very welcome to smoke here, we just ask that you please close the patio door before lighting up.
